The Society of Civil Engineers from Novi Sad traditionally organized the international conference "Contemporary Construction Practices 2023", held on June 8 and 9 at the Borkovac Hotel in Ruma, R. Serbia. About 120 guests attended the event, and the presenters were scientific researchers, engineers, and doctoral students from the field of construction.

At the conference, numerous examples of innovative technologies for more efficient "smart" construction, protection and rehabilitation of structures, durability of structures and reduction of CO2 emissions were presented. 

As a supporter of this event, ADING had its own presentation in front of the attendees, by Nikola Uzunov, leading manager for technical application. The topic of his presentation "Durability of Concrete Structures" included:

- Durability of concrete structures, meaning and importance,

- Methods and principles, effects of constructions from the aspect of reducing CO2 emissions, and

- Experiences from the field - examples of construction performance and protection. 

At the conference, a round table was also organized on topic: "We cannot avoid earthquakes!" Can we design and build better?"
